Parker Tube Bender NEW Design

We've got to say we have seen a lot of tubing benders throughout the time we've been in business. But with this new design, this is the best tubing bender you'll ever use. This on bends as smooth as butter!

Seven heavy-duty tube benders for small bore tube assembly in a wide variety of industries ranging from fluid instrumentation systems in process plants, laboratory equipment applications to custom automotive tubing manufacturing.

Sized for 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" inch tubing, as well as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm metric tubing. PTB Tube Benders are key to reliable, leak-free assembly, easily providing accurate, tight radius bends of up to 180 degrees on soft copper, aluminum, brass , steel, and stainless steel tubing.

All seven models feature a unique indexing handle with calibrated markings for making accurate, left-handed, right-handed, and offset bends. In addition, a patented, quick action trigger release easily repositions the tool midway through a bend when the handles meet.

Burkert Newly Designed Angle-Seat Control Valve Announced

In line with Burkert's philosophy for modular valves and sensors the construction of the 2300 angle-seat valve fulfills tough criteria for process environments. Unrivalled cycle life and sealing integrity is guaranteed by the proven self-adjusting packing gland. the parabolic trim provides excellent control characteristics and flow rates approximately 35% larger than conventional control valves. It is available in either stainless steel on stainless steel or with a durable PTFE seal for tight shut-off.

The design enables the easy integration of automation modules whether they are digital electro-pneumatic positioner or process controller. The fully integrated system (part of Burkert's new Element line ) has a compact and smooth design, integrated pneumatic lines, IP65/67/NEMA4X protection class and superior chemical resistance. This system has been engineered for reliable accurate control in applications where high flow rate is an advantage. It's clean stainless steel design makes it optimal for use in hygienic environments.

How to Select and Order Parker Balston Coalescing Compressed Air Filter Cartridges

A. Overview: Parker Balston Coalescing Compressed Air Filters protect your equipment and delicate instruments from the dirt, water, and oil usually found in compressed air. Parker Balston Coalescing Filters remove these contaminants at a very high efficiency -up to 99.99% of 0.01 micron particles and droplets. Liquid releases from the filter cartridge to an automatic drain as rapidly as it enters the filter. This allows a Parker Balston Coalescing Filter to continue to remove liquids for an unlimited time without loss of efficiency or flow capacity.

B. Parker Balston Filter Cartridges: Balston provides two grades of coalescing filter cartridges, Parker Balston Grade DX and Grade BX. Singly or in tandem, these filters satisfy all requirements for removing liquid and solid contaminants from compressed air. Balston also has an activated carbon adsorbent CI-type cartridge for the removal of trace oil vapors from a compressed air line.

C. Selecting the proper filter cartridge
1. Decide which grade(s) of filter cartridges fit the application

a- For general purpose applications such as plant compressed air, single stage filtration is often sufficient. Use a Parker Balston Grade DX filter cartridge.

b- For instrument air and other critical air requirements, two stage filtration is necessary. Use Parker Balston Grade DX followed by a Parker Balston Grade BX filter cartridge. As a general rule, a Parker Balston Grade BX Filter cartridge should not be used alone.

c- For removal of trace compressor oil vapor, three stage filtration is necessary. Use a Parker Balston Grade DX followed by a Parker Balston Grade BX and a Parker Balston type CI cartridge.

2. Retention Efficiency for 0.01 Micron Particles and Droplets

a- Parker Balston Grade DX Filter - 93% Efficiency

b- Parker Balsotn Grade BX Filter - 99.99% Efficiency

GO Switch Leverless Limit Switch

GO Switches are now available for Forberg Scientific Inc.

GO Switch "leverless limit switches" provide reliable, durable position sensing in the most demanding plant conditions. Unlike mechanical limit switches or inductive proximity sensors, GO Switches use a unique hybrid technology that elimainates wear and tear. As a result, GO Switches are more dependable and last longer in the toughest applications. These switches are in stock and available for immediate delivery at www.forberg.com.

GO Switch Differance

Unique hybrid technology. GO Switch have a one-of-a-kind "leverless limit switch" design that combines the advantages of existing limit switch and proximity sensor technologies. As a result, GO Switch deliver better performance in the most demanding applications.

Reliability in a variety of industries. For over fifty years, GO Switch have set the standard for mission-critical position sensing in the automotive, cement, chemical, diecasting, food & beverage, hydrocarbon, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, pulp & paper, steel & aluminum, tire & rubber, and water & wastewater industries.

Durability when it matters most. GO Switch last longer in plant conditions that are hot, cold, wet, dirty, abusive, corrosive, and explosive. A wide variety of GO Switches are cerified for use in all hazardous areas including Zone 0 ( intrinsically safe ), Zone 1 ( explosion proof ), and Zone 2 ( non-incondive ). With no exposed moving parts and no delicate electronics, GO Switches have been designed to withstand caustics, corrosives, salt water, submersion, physical abuse, vibration, and temperatures ranging from -58F / -50C to 400F / 204C. All types and varieties of GO Switches are available for online purchase at www.forberg.com .

Advantages of Parker CPI Single Ferrule Instrumentation Tube Fittings vs Swagelok type

Advantages of Parker CPI single ferrule instrumentation tube fittings over dual ferrule (Swagelok - type) tube fittings.

Safety - By reducing chances for error, chances for leaks are reduced.

Simplicity - By design, Parker CPI single ferrule tube fittings are easier to work with than dual-ferrule instrumentation tube fittings like (Swagelok).

Service Life - The Parker CPI moly-impregnated stainless steel nut provides more remakes and less thread galling versus silver coated threads used in two-ferrule designs like (Swagelok).

Interchangeability - Parker CPI single-ferrules are fully interchangeable with Swagelok dual-ferrule systems and can be used in either Parker or Swagelok fitting bodies.
